UE4 Devs Take Center Stage in the Powered by Unreal Engine Zone at EGX Rezzed
This year’s Rezzed is being held in Tobacco Docks in London from March 30th to April 1st. To help celebrate all of the amazing UE4 games that are currently being developed, we partnered with Rezzed to create the ‘Powered by Unreal’ zone. Developers creating games with Unreal Engine have taken full advantage of the funding we put aside to double their exhibition space and we are excited to announce the wonderful games that will be on display at the show!
Empires of the Undergrowth by Slug Disco Studios
Empires of the Undergrowth is a real time strategy game based around the world of ants. It features underground tunneling, nest construction and fast-paced battles with insects, arachnids and other ant colonies.
The game’s theme is taken directly from nature, and offers a fresh alternative to the usual sci-fi, fantasy and real-war settings for this genre. In the single-player campaign, the player takes control of a unique colony of DNA-harvesting, nomadic ants embarking on a great journey; they must set up temporary nests, gather food, and defeat neighbouring colonies. The story is narrated from the perspective of a documentary film maker studying the ants, adding a light touch of humour.
Formula Fusion by R8 Games
Formula Fusion is an anti-gravity racing game which pits your racing pedigree up against the rest of the world. Tackle the single player campaign and become the best pilot against the AI over leagues and championships, or play against the world in multiplayer and compete in a sports league where you can take either yourself or your team to the top step.
Little Nightmares by Tarsier & Bandai Namco
Immerse yourself in Little Nightmares, a dark whimsical tale that will confront you with your childhood fears as you help Six escape The Maw – a vast, mysterious vessel inhabited by corrupted souls looking for their next meal!
Nerve by Pixel Blimp
Nerve is a fast-paced arcade runner with an abstract-digital art style. Players must hurtle through a corrupted digital world using their reactions and skills to manoeuvre their way to the next level, each more perilous and chaotic than the last. With 10 handcrafted chapters to race through, Nerve combines both endurance and reflex based gameplay to create the most intense highscore driven experience in VR.
Nerve is set for launch later this year on PS4, Steam, Oculus, HTC Vive, and PSVR.

QUBE 2 by Toxic Games & Trapped Nerve
In QUBE 2 players must once again step into the shoes of an unsuspecting character and explore an alien environment, solving challenging puzzles in their quest for answers. Adopting the role of Amelia Cross, a stranded archeologist who has awoken on an alien planet, players must work together with another survivor named Emma to traverse and manipulate aspects of this strange world in their search for a way home. Manipulating environments using special gloves, players must solve puzzles that will help Milly deal with her past as the environment around her adapts to her presence.
Redeemer by Gambitious
Redeemer is a Top-Down Action game where you will punch, hack and blast your way through enemies using fists, hammers, firearms and even the environment. Play as Vasily, an elite operative who once worked for one of the biggest arms industry corporations in the world. Officially working in security, you were tasked with infiltration, assassination, extortion and even torture.
When eventually the corporation decided to turn you into one of its cyborg soldiers, you manage to narrowly escape to a secluded monastery deep in the snowy mountains. For 20 years you tried to find peace and harmony amongst your fellow monks, but you are still too haunted by your murderous past to find either. Now, after all of these years, the corporation is finally closing in on your location, and in so doing they have given you one last shot at redemption.

The Occupation by White Paper Games
