Technical Details

Skeletal mesh LOD: Automatically generate LOD chains for your characters or other skeletal meshes. 

Static mesh LOD: Create perfect LODs for your static meshes with minimal manual labor. 

Actor merging: Use high resolution meshes when kit bashing and have Simplygon generate a cheap representation mesh. This takes away the need to create specific assets for background geometry and allows you to use dense meshes when building mobile games. 

HLOD proxies: Simplygon hooks into the HLOD system and generates cheap representation meshes for your clusters. This not only reduces the draw calls but also drastically cuts down on the amount of polygons in the clusters. 

Level stream LOD: Generate a high quality proxy for a whole level, allowing you to create large worlds while far away geometry is significantly reduced in both draw calls and poly count.
