House of Moves Gets Unreal About Mo-Cap

Mo-cap studio House of Moves has worked on blockbuster games and films, and even TV commercials. When they ended up with a big project and a short deadline, they turned to technology they knew and trusted, the Unreal Engine.

We sat down with them recently to find out more about how they hooked up Vicon’s Blade 2, their mo-cap software, with the Unreal Engine to capture live performances while their actors moved through Unreal-generated environments in real time.
