The Grenade pin is physically simulated & highlights when your secondary hand is close enough to interact with it.
As you are pulling the pin there is simulated Resistance & haptic feedback, but if you release the pin before its been removed, It will snap back to its original location resulting in a haptic response to the hand holding the Grenade.
After pin has been removed the grenade will only become live if your are not holding the safety down, Once you release your thumb from the safety lever or throw the grenade The grenade safety clip will spring off and the grenade will become live, You then have limited time to throw the grenade.
When Frag or flash-bang grenades explodes they create a burn decal on near by objects and floors that will slowly fade out.
Easy to create custom grenade types with custom effects/meshes (BY CREATING NEW CHILD ACTORS) from base grenade.
Built Using the default UE4 VR hands & BP's as a base to make integration to VR projects more manageable.
The demo level has destructible meshes and dummy characters set up to receive damage and respond accordingly.
