Spline based Orbital System for Actors, incl. Mass based Speed

With this Blueprint, you can create different Orbits, including Moons.

The Speed of each Actor in a orbit is calculated by the Mass Parameter of its Parent Object. This also applies to elliptical Orbits, where the Object changes it speed, depending on the distance to the Parent.

Orbits are created as Splines.

  •  Spline based Orbits
  •  Moons for each Orbit (Moons for Moons are also possible)
  •  Orbit speeds are depending on the Distance to the central Mass
  • Elliptical Orbits have correct relative speeds (become faster, the closer they are, to the central Mass)
  • Ability to set the amount of rotations (days) an Actor has per Orbit (year)
  • Orbits can be rotated along all 3 axes
  • Actors can be rotated along all 3 axes
  • Orbit is represented by a simple Material, that can be changed
