Urban Style Decals with separate control over blending shape and outline center
This decal system is based on three main components.
1. A texture set featuring a diffuse normal and height map while the height values are used to determine the visibility of the decal.
2. One alpha texture to determine the outer shape of the decal that is combined with the blending from the height maps
3. One additional alpha texture that can be used to get more variation and visibility of the centre area partially of the decal.
All textures can be mixed and matched in the appropriate slots in the material instances to create a
huge number of different and unique looking variations based on the same source texture files.
The included presets are just a small demonstration of all the things that can be created with the system.
I would recommend to first just spread the preset instances around in your level and then go in and
create unique new instances for your specific sections based on what you already placed.
