A demonstration is ready with an operable character.
Proper landing is done by two bone IK.
In order to express the bending of the flight feathers, two bones were used per flight feathers and tail feathers.
Hence the number of bones is high(bones count:239).
Please be careful if your environment is limited to a certain number of bones.
How to use BP_SecretarybirdRandomBehavior
1. Place as many BP_LandingPoints as you like in the scene.
2. Place as many BP_SecretarybirdRandomBehavior as you like in the scene.
Then BP_SecretarybirdRandomBehavior repeats the action of walking randomly and the action of flying while avoiding obstacles to the landing point.
BP_SecretarybirdRandomBehavior will fly off if the player approaches a certain distance.
