Import photos and videos directly from the user's mobile device's photo gallery to be used as textures in Unreal Engine 4. The imported texture is usable for both in-game world assets and UMG content.


Use it to create rich and dynamic 3D/AR content to engage the player!


Also allows you to take both static screenshots or videos of your application to be exported directly into the user's photo gallery!

Important/Additional Notes:

  • Requires IOS SDK 12 for IOS compilation (uses ReplayKit)
  • Requires Android SDK 26 (uses MediaProjection)
  • When running on Win64 / Mac Editor, the import blueprint functions will return a dummy texture of the current screenshot for debugging purposes.
