This Procedural FX Spawner has the ability to check surfaces and foliage objects to spawn Particles, Sounds or custom Blueprints.


This system is best used for large environments with many biomes, but can also work well for single biome environments.

Technical Details


Features:

  • FX Spawner Data Table that holds all the info on how to spawn. (See Screen Shot 2)
  • Ability to spawn FX on any surface that has been listed.
  • Ability to spawn FX on any objects using the multi sweep trace.
  • Ability to spawn Particles, Sounds, and Custom Blueprints.
  • Sample content (Sounds, Particles, Materials)


Sample Content:

  • Desert Biome with Sand Shifting, Dust Devils, and Wind SFX.
  • Grass Plains Biome with Butterflies, Flies with SFX.
  • Autumn Forest Biome with Trees, Leave Wisps, Falling Leaves, and Bird call SFX.
