Purpose and Behavior:

The purpose of the Realistic Drone is to provide a realistic visual experience combined with a resourceful and enjoyable interaction with the surroundings. It consists of a character Blueprint that can be spawned, possessed, and controlled throughout its programmed and customizable lifetime, which is derived from its Battery, Signal Strength, and use of the “Kill Switch”.

It includes a simulated GPS sensor system that will keep you updated on its relative position and a fully functional compass with up to 4 customizable markers that can be placed anywhere on the map. At the time of their placement, during the level setup, you can pick the markers’ Name, Color, Visibility, and Traceability. These attributes will then automatically be reflected on the drone’s widget during gameplay. Additionally, the widget will always indicate the main character’s position and distance for reference.

The Realistic Drone also comes with special effects such as Weak Signal Glitches, Night Vision, Flashlights, Strobe Lights, Camera Zoom, Gyroscopic Camera Stabilization, Liftoff Animations, Leaning Animations, Sound Effects, First-person Camera Perspective, Third-person Camera Perspective, and the possibility to customize the drone’s skin Color.

All these features can be enjoyed either in Single or Multiplayer since the Realistic Drone is fully Network Replicated.
