A Blueprint Utility meant to edit the pivot position on Static Meshes, either directly on the Content Browser or in your scenes.

This blueprint utility allows you to apply changes to Static Meshes' pivot positions, either freely or using preset locations. You can also:


  • Create temporary pivots in scenes, instead of affecting your meshes;
  • Keep the original asset, creating a copy with the modifications;
  • When keeping the original asset, replace all instances in the scene, with the new edited asset;
  • Maintain the edited mesh position in scene (when changing pivot positions, the mesh will move relative to the object).
  • Apply changes directly to the Content Browser.


IMPORTANT: Check the product images to be sure to enabled the required plugins.

Features:


  • Use preset pivot positions to quickly move the pivot ("Centralize", "Center & Bottom" and "Center & Top" options);
  • Create a "temporary pivot" in the scene. This won't affect in any way the Static Mesh, but may be as helpful as the actual change ("Temporary Pivot" option);
  • Preserve the asset (creating a new one) or replace it in the Content Browser ("Keep Original Asset" option);
  • When you choose to keep the original asset, an option to automatically replace all instances in the scene with the edited version ("Replace Instances in Scene" option);
  • Preserve the mesh positions in the scene, avoiding the offset due to the pivot change ("Offset Position Change" option);
  • Edit the asset directly on the Content Browser (keep in mind that Scene related option won't be available).
