Easily build and pose with Editor UI-based Faceboard controller right inside Unreal Engine 5. MetaHuman and Custom Characters are supported.
This tool lets you drive controls of your character’s Control Rig from Editor UI. It is mainly focused on Faceboard but other uses are also possible.
You can create beautiful Faceboards to your liking with this tool's advanced, yet easy to use UI building features. Then, you'll intuitively use these Faceboards to drive your controls easily which is especially important for complex key frame animations or mocap editing.
You can even hide control rig controls or activate game mode while you’re working with the tool since you won't need to see them. Since Control Rig asset is used, this tool is able to access Sequencer and write data to it.

The tool has edit and use modes. Edit mode is where the rigger builds the custom Faceboard by using drag and drop slider workflow and use mode is where the animator uses these sliders to control the corresponding Control Rig controls.
Also MetaHuman Faceboard UI template is already provided with the tool and fully supported. You can start animating right away If you are after using MetaHumans.
Key Features
Important: Please read the documents thoroughly. If you want to use this tool with your custom character, you need to have your own Control Rig. If you use MetaHuman, you can start right away since everything you need is already provided.
Important 2: If you use MetaHuman template, you can directly update the tool when there is a newer version. If you have your custom character and template, don't forget to export your config as json (Faceboard.json file) and back up somewhere so that you won't lose your template.
Important 3: None of the characters are included.

Note: Epic Games made some small changes to MetaHuman standard since this pack was released. We support the latest MetaHuman standard currently. For old standard, you can download this json file and import it to your faceboard template.
