This package is a comprehensive collection of a sci-fi factory environment. Several key objectives were prioritized during its creation, with the most important being the attention to detail in modeling while maintaining high quality alongside optimized performance. To enhance optimization, only 12 tile textures were used to create all objects, keeping the project size low and optimizing GPU memory usage. Even when viewed up close, the texture details remain impressively sharp.
For the wall text and signage, various decals and a decal texture sheet have been used. The walls, ceilings, and floors are rich with detailed designs. All the walls and components are modular, allowing you to easily expand and customize your environment. Separate model sets have been created for the main corridors, making it simple to build long hallways. Typically, arranging small, individual modular pieces takes a lot of time, but to solve this, we’ve included a variety of large corridor sections that combine walls, ceilings, and embedded pipes into a single modular piece, making environment creation fast and easy.
This package also includes blueprints for ceiling and wall lights, as well as projectors. Simply add one of these blueprints to your environment and adjust the light intensity, emissive levels, and other parameters with the provided variables. All lighting options are contained within the blueprint, and you can also set custom blinking intervals for the lights, allowing them to flicker randomly within your specified time range.
We’ve also included blueprints for two doors, a single and a double door. You can change the door colors through the blueprint menu, lock or unlock them, and these doors can be used in level streaming to load and unload levels as needed. Additionally, we’ve designed two beautiful UIs for the door lock and unlock states, which can be activated based on your selection.
A large map with corridors and rooms in various colors and designs has been prepared for you, saving you time in level creation. For those focused on optimization, we’ve created a map with level streaming capabilities, which is very easy to work with. In this map, only one corridor is loaded at a time during gameplay. As you approach doors, the next levels load, and once you pass through and the door closes, the previous level is unloaded. This directly contributes to improved frame rates.
Additionally, a flashlight system is ready to use, providing a visually striking effect in dark areas. Beautiful UIs including helpful notes have been created for the screen, which you can edit or add text to as needed. You can easily change the colors of all materials and switch out parts of each object with different tile materials, helping you create diverse environments with various color schemes.
This package utilizes Nanite technology. Although modular objects did not require Nanite, I chose to use it across all objects for better optimization.
