SVD Dragunov - Sound Pack

Introducing our first firearm sound library, with the iconic SVD Dragunov. Here in its civilian version, the Tigr-SVD from Izhmash is a semi-automatic sniper rifle chambered in 7.62x54 R, with a detachable 10-round magazine. Developed in the 60s, the SVD has become the standard squad support weapon of several countries’ military.

Using a large array of various microphone configurations, we recorded shots in an open shooting range near Warsaw, and an extensive range of foley in our studio.

We used these recordings to carefully design the sound assets in this library. It includes powerful shots, 3 meticulously crafted types of tails (Wide, Urban and Interior) and punchy foleys (Charging handle cycles, magazine actions and aiming movements).

Foley assets are in mono, while shots are available in stereo and surround for 5.1 systems.
