    This product contains a code plugin, complete with pre-built binaries and all its source code that integrates with Unreal Engine, which can be installed to an engine version of your choice then enabled on a per-project basis.

The MVN Unreal Engine live plug-in is a plug-in that can receive a stream of motion capture data in real-time from Xsens MVN Animate & Analyze. MVN Animate & Analyze is the main software tool for interfacing with the Xsens MVN inertial motion capture suit for the purpose of human body motion capture.

Technical Details

New in the MVN Live Link UE5 plugin:

  • Plug-in updated to support UE5.
  • Added "Metahuman" to UE5 dropdown box where the user can choose this naming convention.
  • Added Blueprint support for Start and Stop Recording.
  • Added timecode support to the remote-control section in Unreal plugin.
  • Added ability to save Live Link Preset.

Bug fixes:

  • Resolved axes appearing to be off when streaming prop data on a prop that’s separate from the character rig.
  • Resolved Unreal crashing when setting the Remapping target table same as the Custom Bone Names Table.
  • Resolved issue of multiple actors merging and becoming "MVN objects".
  • Resolved character continuing to respond to MVN live link feed after removing the live link skeletal animation component from the animation actor.
