Works well with the Modular Tech Environment Set

This environment set was built for a wide range of platforms and game types. If you need to go low for mobile you can easily down-scale and remove many Textures and Material calls and if you want to go higher there are options for that, as well. These assets work well for first-person, third-person, top down and VR game types.

This is a very large set built to cover just about every need possible, with the basics like walls and floors, but also crawlable ducts, cover-walls, and tons of decorative options. You can also apply just about any type of tiling Material or Texture to these models and tweak their colors on the fly. Their color, roughness, emissive, edge wear, dust and scratches are adjustable per section for the whole set at once, or for individual pieces separately.

The set includes:

- 9 decals

- 12 Blueprints (automated sliding doors, rising platforms and some simple multi-model containers)

- 39 floor, platform and stair pieces

- 64 wall pieces

- 45 ceiling pieces

- 19 roof pieces

- 70 barrier type pieces (doors, pillars and railings)

- 19 duct pieces

- 37 decorative pieces (pipes, machines, lights and more)

*Ceiling and floor pieces are interchangeable.

Everything is Nanite ready, as well. Just enable it on any mesh you want, or all at once, with a single right-click.

(You cant use Nanite with transparent materials however, so if you enable it on any model using glass, they will show grey. Just swap out the transparent material if you want to use the model with Nanite)

Technical Details

All models were built to fit the Unreal character with a consistent scale, though they can be enlarged or shrunk quite a bit without loss of quality. Their UV's are also built to a consistent texel density/scale. UV0 fits the same tiling Texture size on all models and UV1 is packed for lightmap bakes and specific Texture detail.

This pack is about 1.2 gb with everything, or about 250 mb if you remove the scratch/wear Textures.

The included environment and topDown demo levels ran on a galaxy s8 at a constant 60 fps.

Vertex Count: Ceiling/floor pieces average 500 verts per 2x2 meters. Walls average 800 verts per 2x3 m. Decorative and platform pieces are 200-5000 verts.

Number of Material Instances: 3 set controllers and hundreds of individual instances linked to the set controllers

Number of Textures: 286

Texture Size: 512-4k for scratch/wear masks. 2k tiling Texture masks and normals. 256-1024 decals and emissives.

Intended Platform: All (though tested on Windows and Android)

Important Note: There are no extra data/game-modes included in the pack, so if you want to run the first/third person demo or the top down demo, you need to import those into a project with those game types.
