A good template base for your FPS projects. It gives you procedural animations requiring only a base pose for your arms. It has dozens of settings to tweak and a basic recoil system.

This system is meant as a base for your fps animations, eliminating the need to make or buy most animations that are common in fps games. It gives you full control over the procedural animation settings, interpolation curves and speeds. With dozens of parameters to change and tweak, you can easily come up with unique animations for your game.

The system also has a basic recoil system that works together with animations to give you a good feeling of feedback when shooting a weapon, for example. The system also allows you to easily setup different weapons, coming with 2 examples for you to use and understand how everything works. Technical Details


  •  7 procedural animation types: idle, walk, sprint, jump, equip/unequip weapon, shooting and aiming down sights;
  •  Weapon sway to give weight to the movements. This overlays on top of all animations;
  •  Basic recoil system;
  • Dynamic aim down sights, allows for animations (procedural or not) to be played while aiming (for example reloading);
  • 2 Example weapons and normal keyframed animation for reloading (using procedural and normal animations together smoothly).

Important/Additional Notes:

  • This system does not work with full body characters, only FPS Arms (mesh only from hands to the shoulders).
  • This system does not include procedural reloading (too complex, maybe in future updates).
  • This system is meant to be used as a base or template for FPS Arms animations.
