In engine solution. No third party plugins or software needed - no PhysX SDK required.

  • Physics simulations,
  • Destruction (can be cut at run-time),
  • Custom meshes (use own or ones provided) - simply drag and drop,
  • Attached meshes can be swung like wrecking balls,
  • Bracket system holds spline in place at specified locations,
  • Material overrides via blueprint,
  • Vertex painting (reduce tiling effect),
  • Configurable length and curvature,
  • Taper width along spline length,
  • Supports sound for movement and cutting,
  • Spawn emitters on cut,
  • Many pre-configured ropes, cables and pipes (available in overview map as actor instances),
  • Supports skeletal mesh attachment (only root - cannot attach by bones/sockets).

Technical Details

Update-1.0 released:

  • 9 more meshes,
  • Spawning at run-time (see "RuntimeSpawn_Demo" map for more details).

Update-2.1 released

  • Grow and Shrink rope at run-time (see "Grow_Shrink_Demo_map").

Update-2.2 Coming soon

  • More meshes.

This content is recommended for medium to high end computers (it is performance intensive). Due to numerous physics calculations it is not suitable for low end gaming platforms.

Performance guideline for max simultaneous on screen instances (Only approximate - varies based on hardware):

  • 1 Long
  • 2 Medium
  • or 3 Short

Please do not use for game mechanics which require substantial length or many concurrent instances.

Previous engine versions available due to request (starting from 4.24 onwards), however only the latest engine version will receive new free content and improvements. Please use latest engine version.

Not intended for use simulating chains

  • 20 blueprints (5 are important - the rest are for demonstration purposes),
  • 60 meshes,
  • 110 Prefigured actor instances (accessible in overview map).

Blueprints are not Nativized.
