UE5 World Partition or UE4 World Composition Big Worlds


This Big Worlds pack contains four large high-quality realistic landscapes in four World Partition (UE5 download) or World Composition (UE4 download) sizes that can be used in your game or visualization projects or just to run around on and have fun.

Each World Partition/World Composition can be modified as desired, including using a different Auto-Material, using different Textures with many textures included, using different Foliage, the addition of Water, etc.


The four World Partition/World Composition world sizes included are:

• 1024 square kilometers (32km x 32km)(Colorado USA)

• 400 square kilometers (20km x 20km)(Colorado USA)

• 256 square kilometers (16km x 16km)(Washington USA)

• 200 square kilometers (10km x 20km)(Tennessee USA)


NOTE: You will require a computer with 80-90 GB or more RAM memory to load all Levels in the 1024 sq km map!

A computer with less RAM memory, 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB can still edit the world but must do so in small sections.

This memory requirement is only if the world is being edited, it can be played with a computer with only 8-16 GB.


NOTE: Each map currently has a PlayerStart in the Persistent Level for first-person camera viewing (flying).

To add a Third-Person character to run around with, be sure to move the PlayerStart over the Persistent Level cube so that the character has something to land on while the landscape tiles load.


NOTE: The Unreal Engine 5 download of this product is using World Partition, while the Unreal Engine 4 download of this product is using World Composition. The World Composition download can also work in Unreal Engine 5 in World Composition Mode.


Each World's Specifications:

• Using World Partition (UE5) / World Composition (UE4): Yes

• Landscape Material: Auto-Material

• Streaming Distance set to: 5.0km (500,000 units) this can be changed as required

• World Composition Tile Size: 1009x1009

• Three Layers

• Diffuse and Normal Texture per Layer

• Layer Brightness

• Layer Desaturation

• Layer Tint

• Layer Bias and Sharpness

• Macro Texture

• World Aligned Steep Slope Layer

• Distance Blend Flat Grass Layer

• Grass Foliage with On/Off Switch


Included Textures:

• 74 Textures up to 4096x4096

• Rock, Dirt, Grass, Sand, Snow, Lava and more

• Can be swapped into the Material Instance to create other biomes


Lighting:

• All maps are set to Dynamic Lighting.

• The Light Source has been set to Dynamic.

• The World Settings tab, Lightmass section, "Force No Precomputed Lighting" option has been set to enabled.
