Sci-Fi Low Poly Exteriors Environment and Flyable Spaceship
Low-Poly "technogenic" Sci-Fi landscape, buildings, structures, large spaceships and flyable one-seat Sci-Fi fighter. Primarily intended as a base for Sci-Fi Flying Action environments, but it is all versatile so can be used in any kinds of Sci-Fi projects.
NEW video (2021, May 15), with everything "as is" in included Demo map: https://youtu.be/n0iQFlUPL4o
Older version video: https://youtu.be/fP2fNVzBMN4
(soon will add another video, this one does not show some recent changes, but nothing major)
Super large modular platforms sized 600x600 meters, "quad-size" pieces 300x300 m size, but you can scale them creatively to anything you want, while applying appropriate sized material instances.
Besides large base tiles, asset has parts, structures for making large variety of different looking buildings. While there are ready-made buildings as well, those are just an examples. Included structures can be used at different scales and angles, forming any structures you imagine.
There are also smaller structural pieces, "greebles", for decorating Sci-Fi environments.
You also will have a set of pipes and framing, those make a nice industrial accent to scenes, and frames can be used with or without pipes as supports for structures.
There is also an obligatory set of Sci-Fi antennas. Some of them are made such way that can be used in both top- and side-mounted situations.
Great attention is given to collisions: if some cavity, entrance, split between meshes "looks flyable", it most likely is.
Materials - several "paneling" materials, windows materials, colors materials, including blinking ones and painted surfaces material. Two kinds of color decals also used on demo levels. Materials are versatile and well documented, surface materials has optional "on/off" switches for red, green and blue light dots, separate scaling for dots and options to change coloring of materials. Of course, there are scaling options as well, and already made material instances for different situations. Windows materials has also rotation option, for horizontal / vertical buildings structures.
Flying fighter - has a proper cockpit view with free-look, external view with look-around, basic instrument readings, decorative cycling "sci-fi display", and working plasma blasters. While there are no enemies in this asset, shooting is included for convenience, and "compatibility" with other upcoming assets :).
Fighter gas non-physics flying, based on Epic's "flying pawn".
Fighter's body has parts separated: cockpit-body, wings, glass canopy, weapons, engine, cockpit displays, flightstick (joystick), pilot chair. Can be easily expanded, modified, for example - cockpit can be a part of bigger ship, etc.
Large spaceships - two kinds, with explorable "bays". Provided also simple Blueprint to make ships move in circles (speed and turn customizable).
Paneling textures and "windows" facades textures generated with customizable Substance PBR materials templates by Brett (Buretto):
Music tracks included from https://www.royaltyfreeplanet.com/synthwave
P.S.: there might be a secret area somewhere on Demo Levels...
--- Future plans for updates:
* more meshes - more different structures, modular tunnel sections, etc.;
Video of upcoming update assets: https://youtu.be/aEG9F5wSI64
* variations for flying fighter construction.
* "cross-hair" for shooting (not included by default by personal preference - clear view, no artificial overlays)
--- Possible updates (depending on attention to asset):
* enemy turrets;
* cool ideas by user requests (P.S.: flying enemies will come as a separate asset release)
--- More distant future: eventual "Vol.2".
