Updated: Unreal Fest Europe just got even bigger—now taking non-games speaker submissions!
Update: Here at Epic, we were excited about hosting Unreal Fest Europe 2020 in Prague. Due to uncertainty around health concerns and travel, we have made the difficult decision to cancel this year's event.
We are working with this year’s speakers to bring select presentations to other conferences and virtual events, so stay tuned to our channels for more information. We are also making plans for Unreal Fest Europe 2021 and look forward to sharing details at a later date.
We’ve got some big news! For 2020, Unreal Fest Europe and Unreal Academy will now be rolled into one huge, action-packed event.
Taking place in Prague from April 29 to May 1, Unreal Fest Europe will see professionals from games and many other industries come together for three days of keynote presentations, hands-on sessions, and expert lectures. Whether you’re an experienced pro or just getting started with real-time workflows, Unreal Fest will have something for creators of all levels and verticals.
Artists, programmers, designers, producers, and those with many other specialized skill sets are invited to attend the event, which is designed to provide a unique opportunity for cross-industry networking. That means that in addition to looking for speakers from the games industry, we’re also inviting professionals from many other industries to deliver presentations at Unreal Fest Europe.
If you’d like to showcase impressive content or workflows you’ve created using Unreal Engine in architectural visualization, automotive and transportation, film and television, live events, training and simulation, or other fields, we’d like to hear from you! We’ve extended the deadline for session proposals until January 6, 2020 so there’s still plenty of time to get your submissions in.
We’re particularly interested in sessions that cover:
- Compelling projects created in Unreal Engine
- Inspirational and thought-provoking content
- Case studies that demonstrate the ROI benefits of using real-time technology
- Imaginative uses of Unreal Engine and real-time workflows
