Epic and Unreal Engine Developers at Boston FIG

作成 Unreal Engine

Epic Games invites anyone attending the Boston Festival of Indie Games on Saturday, September 14 to come visit us.

In the Unreal Engine booth at DS8/DS9 our focus will be on Tiny Brains, a four-player co-op puzzle game coming to Steam, PSN and XBLA this fall, with a launch on PS4 to follow. Epic hosted the demo and the team from Spearhead Games in our PAX booth, and it was so much fun we begged them to come with us to Beantown. We’re digging what this group has built with our tech in a matter of months.

We’ll be right across the way from TriplePoint PR in the expo space, where attendees will be able to go hands on with Outlast, the recently released thriller (and source of amazing scarecam videos) from Red Barrels. It’s available now on Steam and coming to PS4 this fall.

Nearby you can also check out Revolution 60, a new iOS game from Giant Spacekat, in the Gameblyr booth. The team describes it as “Heavy Rain meets Mass Effect with an all-girl cast.” This Kickstarter success story is a must-see for FIG goers.

On Saturday at 12:50 p.m., Epic Games Lead Level Designer Jim Brown will give a talk entitled Once Upon a Time: Giving Players the Freedom to Create Their Own Story as part of the DevTalk track in Stratton building W20, 3rd floor.

When it comes to the Digital Games Showcase, we’re rooting on Recruits and Tower of Guns, two great indie games that are made with Unreal.

Thanks to all of the Unreal Engine developers who are representing here at BostonFIG. If you’re here and we’ve somehow missed you, please tweet @UnrealEngine, and we’ll be sure to show you the love.
