Getting to grips with Sequencer can be challenging. It has an all-new set of windows and its own unique interface. Though it bears much resemblance to traditional non-linear video editors, it lives inside a game engine and that changes things. In this introductory course, Paul Kind will demystify many of the big questions while building a project. We will cover simple translational movements to get our feet wet but will quickly progress to animations, particle effects, triggering Blueprints and more. By the end, you should have a firm enough grip of Sequencer to begin working on your own projects and the confidence to handle more advanced courses.
You will learn how to:
Navigate the interface of Sequencer.
- Implement blended animations in a Sequencer track using keyed animation weights.
- Apply multiple tracks in a single sequence and be able to manage them.
- Trigger Blueprint functionality with Sequencer tracks.
- Control particle effects in your scene with Sequencer.
