Welcome to this course on Studio Lighting. Here Paul Kind takes you through the steps of creating the look dev you are searching to achieve. The course includes a few Blueprints to help create that look but the course starts with the creation of some of our own. Once the studio is created, Paul will then approach the assignment of IES light profiles for a more dynamic and realistic look. From there, Paul will look at light panels for fill lighting and reflections. The course completes with creating a turntable Blueprint and a the use of Cinematic Sequencer to capture our presentation.
You will learn how to:
Build an in-editor lighting studio which can be reused for virtually any subject matter.
- Apply IES light profiles and other types of in-engine lighting techniques to control the visual lighting of a scene.
- Identify the finer details of a virtual lighting studio which can greatly affect the final polish of an image.
- Create a Blueprint actor which rotates the object in the scene.
