In this course, author Mathew Wadstein teaches how to use Unreal Engine's Datasmith toolset to bring your AEC and manufacturing 3D assets into Unreal Engine. Mathew shows how to install Datasmith exporters in Revit, 3ds Max, and SketchUp, and how Datasmith directly imports numerous third-party datasets created in applications like Cinema4D, Autodesk Inventor, and SolidWorks. You then learn how to work with the Datasmith assets once they are in the engine, and how to use the supplied ArchViz, Collab Viewer, and Photo Studio templates to showcase your work.
