Unreal Engine games celebrated at The Game Awards 2024
Last night, The Game Awards 2024 took place at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles to recognize and celebrate the creativity, tenacity, and technical excellence in the global games industry.
Unreal Engine developers were honored with nominations across 26 of the 29 categories including Game of the Year, Best Game Direction, Best Art Direction, Best Mobile Game, Best Debut Indie Game, and more. Many amazing Unreal Engine developers also revealed and announced new games during the live show.

Download the launcher
Before you can install and run Unreal Editor, you’ll need to download and install the Epic Games launcher.
Install Epic Games launcher
Once downloaded and installed, open the launcher and create or log in to your Epic Games account.
Get support, or restart your Epic Games launcher download in Step 1.
Install Unreal Engine
Once logged in, navigate to the Unreal Engine tab and click the Install button to download the most recent version.
