The 2016 Montreal International Game Summit (MIGS) is right around the corner and will bring together many international experts to share knowledge and ideas in one of the world’s largest game development hubs. MIGS takes place November 13-15 at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal.
Epic Games will be there to deliver informative talks including “Unreal Engine 101” and “Integrating 3rd-Party SDKs into UE4.” If you’ll be in attendance, feel free to swing by the Unreal Engine booth to check out the latest tools and to catch up with the team.
Here are the details of the sessions we’re hosting:
Title: Unreal Engine 101
When: Monday, November 14th from 2:15 to 3:15 and from 3:45 to 4:45

All these come together to help you build amazing games, experiences, and VR projects.

Description: Have you ever wanted to add custom hardware features to your Unreal games? Ever thought about integrating third-party SDKs into your project? In this session, see the proper way to bring third-party functionality into UE4 by writing custom plugins!
Learn how to bring Logitech’s G Illumination SDK into your project by creating a Blueprint library. This will expose the key features of the SDK to artists and designers, who can then use full keyboard color control to add a new layer of immersion to their games. We’ll demonstrate the plugin creation process, as well as how to utilize the Blueprint library in a game project, live on stage!
