In the upcoming third-person action adventure Eternal Strands by Yellow Brick Games, the world is your weapon. Playing as the young but fearless protagonist Brynn, players will possess powerful magical abilities and an arsenal of magical weapons to manipulate the environment as they take on massive enemies throughout the Enclave—a mysterious lost land that was once the powerful center of magical wonders.
Based in Quebec City, Canada, Yellow Brick Games is a small studio composed of industry veterans who are combining their talent and experience to forge this ambitious yet approachable experience. At the core of their efforts is Unreal Engine 5, which the newly-formed studio selected to build the stylized physics playground of its dreams.
To learn more about the game and the team’s use of Unreal Engine 5, we caught up with Yellow Brick Games CTO Louis Tremblay, who spoke to us about their use of Lumen, Nanite, Chaos, the Gameplay Abilities System, and more.
