By Chance Ivey

Dana outlines the new Marketplace content released last week and highlights the indie teams showing off their Unreal Engine games at EGX next week. Read the Marketplace blog and EGX press release for more information. Sjoerd De Jong talks about the early stages of his career and his journey up to now, as well as shows us an updated look at “Solus.”

Sjoerd, known around the UE community as “Hourences,” has been developing games in the Unreal Engine for around 15 years. He has worked on a large number of titles, done countless workshops, and trained thousands through on-site learning sessions and video tutorials. A good friend of Epic and many Unreal Engine developers, we were honored to have him come visit. Check out his website at hourences.com
