Video I/O support in Unreal Engine 4.20

Unreal Engine has seen a wave of adoption in live broadcast and virtual production workflows over the past year, and we’re excited to offer support for HD/SDI input and output for the first time in the Unreal Engine 4.20 release.

Users in areas ranging from live broadcast to virtual production and esports now have support for HD/SDI video and audio I/O with AJA Video Systems’ Corvid 44 and KONA 4 cards. This includes full support key and fill video inputs and outputs, LTC, VITC timecode and fully gen-lockable video workflows, enabling integration of AR and graphics in live broadcast transmissions.
