Unreal Engine 4.25 Preview 1 is here, and you can start putting the latest features to the test today. Niagara VFX and real-time ray tracing are both production-ready in this release, so you can unlock even more creative potential with these production-proven features. Be sure to try out the latest updates to Hair and Fur, the Unreal Insights profiling tools, and general navigation improvements.

To take 4.25 Preview 1 for a spin, head to your Library on the Epic Games launcher under the Unreal Engine tab, select “Add Versions”, and choose 4.25 Preview 1.

For a complete list of updates included in 4.25 Preview 1, visit the Unreal Engine 4.25 Preview thread. We invite you to provide feedback on this Preview and subsequent releases in the respective thread.

Please keep in mind that Previews are intended to only provide a sample of what will be included in the full release and are not production-ready. We encourage you to use copies of your projects with the Previews and wait for the final 4.25 release before updating to the new engine version.
