Twinmotion Community Challenge #3: “Green space in an urban jungle”
Want to win some Epic prizes? Enter our new contest and share your art with the world. This time around we’re looking for your best static images of a green space in an urban jungle.
A cash prize of $500 is up for grabs for the most compelling depiction of a park in an urban development. All entries must be created in Twinmotion 2020. Those who don’t have the full license can use the free trial, and students and teachers can use Twinmotion for education.
This is a great opportunity to put the enhanced vegetation system in Twinmotion 2020 through its paces. Fill your park with the new high-resolution tree and vegetation assets, test out the new grass customization options, and explore features that make propagating vegetation throughout a scene easier.
All entries are to be submitted via social media, with the best showcased on Twinmotion’s own social media channels.
Check out the challenge details below and get your entry posted by the deadline!
Challenge #3: “Green space in an urban jungle”Parks in built-up areas are oases in an ocean of concrete. For this challenge, we’re looking for the most impressive image of a park in an urban development.
Entrants will need to upload an image with at least a 2K resolution created using Twinmotion 2020. The deadline for entry is May 21, 2020 at 11:59 PM GMT+2.
The winning entry will receive a cash prize of $500 plus Epic Games swag.
See below for important info on submission and rules.
SubmissionsYour submission should be a 2K image created with Twinmotion 2020. Entries created using the trial and education versions of the software will be accepted. Make your submissions by May 21, 2020 through social media, with the hashtag #TwinmotionChallenge in the text.
There are several ways to enter:
- Post the image in the Facebook Twinmotion Community Group
- Post the entry on your Twitter or LinkedIn account with the tag @Twinmotion
- Post the entry on your Instagram account with the tag @twinmotionofficial
Your entry can be posted with any one or more of the methods above. Just be sure to include #TwinmotionChallenge in the text!
Check out the official rules for this challenge; they vary slightly each time. However, there’s one important rule that’s the same for every challenge:
The items in your image cannot include any trademarked branding or logos. For example, if a laptop appears in your image, it cannot have a visible brand logo—you can still have the laptop in the scene, just not the logo. If your image includes a branded refrigerator, the refrigerator itself can stay in the scene, but the logo cannot appear in the image.
Unfortunately, we have to disqualify any image with such branding or logos from the competition. We don’t want this to happen to you, so be sure to strip out all logos and branding before posting your entry.
The rules for this challenge are also available in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish (EU) (LATAM), and Turkish.
We look forward to seeing your entries for the third Twinmotion Community Challenge. If you don’t have Twinmotion yet, you can download it here.
