Real-time animation is no longer a dream, it’s getting worked into pipelines right and left. Take even a small peek at our new Animation Field Guide and you’ll find big names like Sony Pictures Imageworks, Reel FX, and BRON Digital are not only using it, but creating beautiful works of art using instant feedback and a more fluid form of collaboration.
So how do you get started?
For animators living in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, the answer is Summer of Unreal 2022, a free course designed to unlock new superpowers in Unreal Engine.
The course is for beginners—no previous experience in Unreal Engine is required—however participants should have experience in 3D animation software and its workflows.
Once you’re in the class, you’ll learn how to integrate real-time workflows into actual projects, as you move from the basics to higher-level skills.
The four-week course includes:
A combination of live-led and project-based, hands-on instruction
A unique learning path that fast tracks you in the Unreal Engine animation workflow
Online classes and guest lectures
A capstone project workday each Friday
A unique digital badge upon successful completion
Summer of Unreal 2022 runs from July 25 - August 19, with classes starting at 9:00 AM CET.
