Rural Australia environment collection now available for free

Explore the virtual outback in Rural Australia. Released in collaboration with Andrew Svanberg Hamilton and featured in the spectacular Memories of Australia video short, the environment pack joins our Permanently Free Collection.
 

“Rural Australia is a collection of high-quality, photogrammetry-based content, authentically captured on location in Australia, providing users the opportunity to construct beautifully accurate representations of the remote and harsh landscape,” Hamilton described. The art director added, “The content pack is specifically built with real-time applications in mind, providing optimized and simplified solutions suitable for games, virtual productions, or other real-time needs.”

The collection gives you the opportunity to construct beautifully accurate representations of rural Australian country roads and remote river canyons. All of the content is optimized towards standard video game specifications, with LODs, simplified shaders, and does not rely on expensive solutions or features to achieve highly realistic visuals.

  • Landscape setup with multiple materials and procedurally scattered foliage

  • Includes a link within the project files to download high-resolution textures for the nature assets (up to 8K)
