Epic recently rolled out a new Bug Submission Form which gives Unreal Engine developers an improved way to report UE4 bugs to our support team.
The new bug reporting process consolidates and centralizes all documented issues from the community. The submission form collects the critical information we need in order to reproduce bugs - which, of course, must be reproduced in order for a fix to be made and released. This helps to ensure that we are able to address any critical issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.
When we receive a report, our team works to reproduce the issue and log a bug. When necessary, we’ll reach out to the submitter to request more information. While we are unable to directly respond to all bug reports, we are continuing to make use of our Public Bug Tracker. As new issues are entered, they’ll show up on the tracker and can be sorted by the most recent entry.
We do suggest that everyone search the Public Bug Tracker for the issue they are experiencing prior to submitting a bug, as someone may have already reported the bug.
As always, we encourage you to use AnswerHub for asking questions and assisting others. AnswerHub remains a great way to utilize peer-to-peer support and helpful tips for getting the best results with UE4.
