Local communities and face-to-face interaction are powerful outlets for developers to connect with like-minded individuals, grow their skills, get exposure and get plugged in. User groups are more than just a place to chat with others. Events, demos, talks, post-mortems, tutorials and much more are often in store with these local gatherings.
At Epic, we recognize the meaningful work that UE4 user groups are doing for the community and we are officially backing those efforts. Local organizers have the ability to post their events in the Unreal Engine Event forum, receive regular swag drops from and our partners for participants, get promotion on our social channels, and we'll even swing by when we're in town!
Here's our (quickly growing!) collection of recognized groups. Find your area on the list? Get connected by RSVPing for the next meetup or contacting their organizer for information on how to get involved.
Do you know of a local UE4 group that we're not aware of? Don't see your area on the list? Shoot us an email or let us know on the wiki page.
