Now hiring for Epic Games UK

By Dana Cowley

We’re thrilled to announce Epic Games UK! Our footprint is growing so we can better serve developers all across Europe.

Our longtime partner and all around awesome team Pitbull Studio is officially becoming part of the Epic family, plus we’re hiring for posts at our new Guildford office.

As Epic’s founder Tim Sweeney puts it, “Pitbull has been essential in helping us develop the best tools and technology for building the next generation of games. They’ve been invested in UE4’s evolution since its early beginnings, and their dedication is unflinching.”

Mike Gamble, who is based in England and has been running Unreal Engine licensing efforts for all of Europe since 2011, adds, “Setting up a bespoke Epic presence here and fully utilizing the Pitbull team as part of that enables us to support Unreal Engine 4 developers across Europe on an entirely new level.”

Robert Troughton, Pitbull’s managing director, now serves as Epic UK’s general manager.  “Becoming Epic Games UK was the next logical step in our relationship with Epic. We’re looking forward to expanding our amazing team here in the UK,” he says.

We’re on the lookout for exceptional people to fill roles such as animation programmer, developer relations engineer, developer relations technical artist, engine community manager, engine programmer, support engineer and tools programmer.
