"The Vineyard" Arch Viz Contest Highlights
Here are a few words from Ronen Bekerman on what inspired him to get into the world of arch viz:
"I was fascinated with drawings of buildings that then become a real thing in the real world since I was a child at my father's side, watching him work. I was drawing ever since and the study of architecture was a natural thing for me.
"Once I started, the use of CGI in architecture design fascinated me the same way, reminding me of days past. What my father did with pencils and pens 20 years ago (at that time) was now possible to do inside the computer and in 3d with photorealistic results. I was able to visualise unbuilt architecture as if it was built.
"Add 10 years more and the good vibes feeling is back in the form of real-time GPU-based visualisation with Unreal Engine 4!
"Besides exploring it and using it in my own studio, I've also partnered with Epic to bring to the masses, via my blog, the most exciting Architectural Visualisation Challenge I held to date. The 6th one. THE VINEYARD!"
