Happy Wednesday! We've got more great Marketplace content this week, including a huge race track pack complete with a fully-rigged vehicle, so let's get to it!
First up we've got the Race Track by Polypixel. This is an impressive pack for a lot of reasons, the first of which is that it contains virtually everything you need for a basic racing game. It comes with a fully-rigged sports car, an advanced car paint shader with multiple examples, and a ton of modular track components including the track, multiple railing styles, tire walls, broadcasting props, bleachers, foliage and terrain textures, background mountains, and a wide variety of other props to help fill out the world. I'm surprised it's taken this long, but here's our first melee weapons pack! Behold the Fantasy Weapon Pack by BRAiNBOX, a set of five stylized low-poly weapons including axes, maces, hammers, daggers, and shields. Each includes diffuse, normal, specular and metallic channels, and the shields include color masks for color swapping. If you're developing a fantasy game with a cartoon style, this would be a great way to fill your game with equippable weapons and shields. Go see them, they look great!
Next we have the Top-Down Graveyard from Manufactura K4, a beautiful modular set of over 150 prefabs for spooky top-down graveyard environments. It's packed full of high-res textures, tons of modular environment pieces, a demo level, and a spooky fog particle effects system. This really is a terrific pack, and it would play great along with his other Top-Down packs, also for sale in the Marketplace. If you need to flesh out a series of full game environments for your top-down game, check this out as well as his other packs!
In the shiny particle effects department, we've got FT Magic Pack 01 by Flying Teapot! This pack contains 18 cascade particle effects ready to go, including a variety of magic circles, spherical magic effects, and several impact effects using a mix of GPU particles and particle light. Looking for some barrel and can props for your game? Barrels and Cans by Alexander Ponomarev is here to meet your needs! This is a pack of twelve props including metal barrels, plastic barrels, small and large gas cylinders, a jerry can, one master material, and 4 LOD levels for each asset. What game would be complete without a few?
If you're developing a multiplayer game, you understand the necessity of having a social component. Adam Wolf has your back! He's developed the Simple Multiplayer Chat System Blueprint, which is a great addition to your multiplayer game. It features customizable names, whispers, global messages, and has a scrollable chat window with color-coded messages just like your favorite MMO. Extremely helpful!
We have more beautiful textures and materials this week from Yughues, and this time he's published Yughues Architect Materials. This is a set of 69 materials of all varieties, including a range of tiles, stones, flooring, wall textures, and more. This is a heck of a value for the price. Have a look!
