Making Revival Unreal

By Amber Sharif

Recently, IllFonic moved their game, Revival, to Unreal Engine 4. According to IllFonic, the game “is a Sandbox MMORPG that puts the player in the middle of a truly living world. With a focus on ‘what would it be like to actually live in a fantasy world’, Revival aims to fully immerse players in a world that has never been seen before.” Given the level of game development this game needs, the team decided that Unreal Engine 4 would take them on the path that would get them there. Hear about their decision to switch directly from the horse’s mouth here.
