Introducing the next evolution of Unreal Online Learning

We’re excited to announce the official launch of new and improved Unreal Online Learning. Now it’s easier than ever to learn Unreal Engine and level up your real-time skills. Whether you’re an experienced UE artist or developer, or you’re completely new to the engine, you’ll find courses designed to help you get the most out of Unreal, at your own pace.

We loved hearing from you as we've been developing our new portal, and have used your feedback to implement the following changes:

Master a topic with curated learning paths

Sometimes when you’re learning something new, it can be difficult to know where to start or where to go next. With the introduction of learning paths, you can follow a series of recommended courses for a specific role or topic, so you can chart your progress as you advance your knowledge in that particular area. You can select from learning paths such as Getting Started in Unreal Engine, Exploring Blueprints, Becoming an Architectural Visualizer, and more.

Need more flexibility? You can also create your own custom path by browsing the full catalogue and bookmarking your favorites. We’ve added filters to make it easier to find courses that are relevant for you. Once you’ve identified a course you want to take, click the heart icon to add it to your favorites. You can easily revisit your personal course list by clicking on Favorites in the content catalogue.

Break your learning into small bites and keep track of your progress

It's now it’s easier to fit learning into your day by breaking it into small chunks that you can easily come back to. Each course is broken up into short modules you can complete in 10-15 minutes, and your progress through a course is tracked, so you can pick up right where you left off the next time you log in. On the home screen, you can easily see all of the courses you have in progress and their percentage completed.

We’ve also added quizzes and knowledge checks along the way so you can make sure you are mastering the material as you progress.

Stay motivated by earning points and badges as you learn

As you complete courses and learning paths, you earn points and skill badges that display on your Achievements page. You can easily see the progress you’re making by looking back at all of the badges you’ve earned. Each badge is unique, so it’s also a visual reminder of what you’ve learned and the skills you’re building.

Show off your skills and build your resume as you learn

Now you can show the world what you know by sharing badges you’ve earned to social media and your LinkedIn profile. From your Achievements page, click on the social media icons next to each badge to share any or all of them. You can also customize your Achievements page with your photo as you build your learner profile.
