‘Epic Games Game Design Professional Certificate’ spans eight courses, launched over two waves, and covers key topics to get started with UE:

  • Introduction to Game Design
  • Unreal Engine Fundamentals
  • Fundamentals of Level Design with Unreal Engine
  • Blueprint Scripting 
  • Visual Development and Audio Design in Games

Later this fall:
  • User Interface Design 
  • User Experience Design
  • Game Development and Prototyping

Over the eight courses, you’ll learn the foundational skills to become a game designer including level design, Blueprint visual scripting, visual development, and UX design.

With a strong emphasis on hands-on projects that simulate real-world game development scenarios, you’ll build out your portfolio while developing industry-relevant skills. 

By the end, you’ll be ready to apply for roles such as game designer, level designer, UI/UX designer, or gameplay programmer.
