As 2022 draws to a close, our final Inside Unreal livestream of the year reviews some of the highlights for Epic Games and our outstanding community. If you missed the live event, you can watch the full broadcast here.
Epic’s CEO and Founder Tim Sweeney is joined by guests from the Unreal Engine engineering, product management, and community teams. The episode kicks off with Unreal Engine 5’s launch, and looks into what its adoption has meant for the industry.
We review some of the amazing projects that we are seeing from studios both large and small, as talented and creative developers have started putting UE5 through its paces—not just in games, but in film, TV, broadcast, and more.
Of course, it’s not just about UE! This year has seen the Epic tools ecosystem flourish, with products like MetaHuman, RealityScan, and more combining to offer exciting new potential. And on the community side, we launched the new Epic Developer Community site, went on an Evangelism World Tour, and had a blast in New Orleans with so many of you at Unreal Fest, with over 120 sessions across six industry-specific tracks.
And with that, we wish you all a very Happy Holidays and a spectacular New Year. See you for more Inside Unreal livestreams in 2023!
