May 7, 2024
It’s that time again…get ready for this month’s free content drop. In partnership with the talented creators over at the Unreal Engine Marketplace, we make a select amount of content free to the UE community each month.

Whether you’re an artist, designer, or programmer, you’re sure to find something that catches your eye. Check out May’s selection below.
Your sci-fi scenes will be out of this world with this pack of atmospheric extraterrestrial assets. There’s everything you need here to create brooding planetary landscapes and moody sci-fi interiors: outdoor sci-fi architecture, interior assets, and nature elements that include rocks, cliffs, grass, and swampy water. Assets are fully modular and customizable, so you can jump in and adjust shaders, recolor elements, and add decals.
Build out your own stunning city environment with these assets inspired by the vibrant aesthetic of Tokyo. Fully modular, you can rearrange the components to create street scenes in a myriad of configurations. The pack includes interchangeable materials for the modular meshes, window and door variations, dirt, ground leaves, and road marking decals. You can see one way it could all be put together in the included example scene with fully optimized Lumen lighting.
“Any fin” is possible with this Advanced Flock System for creating realistic simulations of fish shoals. Perfect for undersea environments, aquariums, or any other subaqueous scene, the fish in the simulation react to objects, pawns, and characters. You can have up to 5,000 fish instances running at 120 fps, or up to 20,000 running at 50-60 fps (based on AMD Ryzen 5 2700X speeds). And you can even bring in your own fish meshes to use with the system.
Want a fast and easy way to replicate physics in your project? Look no further. The Replicated Grab System automatically integrates into objects in your world, enabling you to interact with all physical objects in your scene. You can customize the system to fit your needs by rotating objects, adjusting the zoom, release, and throwing speeds, and more.
Step from neon-lit cyberpunk to creepy treehouse horror in the bumper pack of six stunning environments. The themed environments included in the pack are Neon City (cyberpunk), Forglar Desert Map, Tomato City Environment (wonderland), Treehouse Horror Environment, Sci-fi Environment Engine Room, and the HellCage Environment (dungeon). Jump in and start exploring.
