The 2023 Epic MegaJam is now open for registrations! Be sure to sign up and check out all the details of resources, rules, and prizes on the official 2023 Epic MegaJam Itch.io page, especially for those creating Unreal Engine entries.
For the first time in Epic MegaJam history, Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) entries are welcome and encouraged, find all UEFN resources along with rules, and prizes on the official 2023 Epic MegaJam Creator Portal page. UEFN entries will be required to submit via the Creator Form, which is linked on the Creator Portal page.
If you’re going to be a student team or individual submission, please follow the above notes for where to find further information and how to submit.
In the MegaJam, you’ll work alone or with a team of up to five members total to make your own incredible game in Unreal Engine or Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), based on the given theme. You’ll have just one week to submit your project before the deadline.
The Epic MegaJam itself will kick off on Thursday, September 14 at 2 PM EDT during Inside Unreal on Twitch, YouTube and LinkedIn, with special guests and a discussion on best practices for a successful jam. The all-important jam theme will be revealed at 3 PM EDT, during the show. Submissions will close on September 21, 2023, at 11:59 PM EDT.
