Epic launches the “Teach with Interactive 3D” contest for secondary educators
Epic Games invites secondary school teachers to submit lesson plans that utilize interactive 3D technology to engage their students for a chance to win cash prizes up to $25,000.
Teachers around the world are using interactive, real-time tools to teach core subjects like history, science, math, art, social studies, and game design in secondary education classrooms.
Learning in an immersive setting not only makes learning fun but also gives students a necessary competitive advantage in a market where 3D skills are in high demand.
To enter the contest, submit a new or existing lesson plan that incorporates Fortnite Creative, Twinmotion, or Unreal Engine by September 30, 2020.
Lesson plans can cover any topic for ages 13 and up—whether that’s a core subject like history, math or science, or vocational skills like game design, engineering, or urban planning.
Each submission will be judged by Epic and the company’s Secondary Advisory Board on merits including innovation, creativity, ease of implementation in the classroom, quality of standards mapping, assessments, and rubrics.
