CARY, N.C. — Epic Games will provide free hands-on learning opportunities with Unreal Engine 3 to Dubai World Game Expo attendees November 29 through December 1. Anyone attending the show is invited to stop by Epic’s booth to learn firsthand how to get started with the Unreal Development kit, the free edition of Unreal Engine 3.
Epic’s special instructors for this occasion are two members from Teotl Studios, James Tan and Markus Arvidsson. Teotl Studios is the developer of The Ball, the first UDK-powered commercial game release.
UDK is available for free download here. Epic Games releases regular software updates free of charge, and a wealth of support information is available at the Unreal Developer Network (UDN). In addition, UDK will soon ship with iOS support, which means that anyone will be able to make amazing games for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch using UE3 technology.
