Hello adventurers. This is Jimmy from Snail Games with more details on the today's release of the Dark and Light Dev Kit. Acting as a specialized version of the Unreal Editor, and specific to the features, models and world of Dark and Light, you can contribute your own designs and share it with your friends and the entire community!
Whole worlds are at your fingertips with the ability to contribute your own customized designs for:
  • New imagined maps and areas
  • Your unique weapon designs
  • Creatures from your own dreams and nightmares
  • Modified spells and effects to your specifications
  • Custom-designed dungeons and combat challenges
  • Nearly anything you can dream up
To get started, download the Dark and Light Dev Kit from the Epic Games launcher, then dive into the available dev tools and let your creative juices flow.

With the Dark and Light Dev Kit, you’ll be able to modify AI behavior, interchange existing models with your own art, change the volume of spawns in an area of your creation, reduce or amplify visual elements such as lighting, and more.

Whether it's getting creative with the art and design, or altering gameplay features to experimental levels, the Dark and Light Dev Kit gives you the freedom to make the game a creation all your own.

We’re keenly interested in all the ways the Dark and Light community will explore these tools to shape and share new content, and will be spotlighting your efforts here at our studio; share your creations on our Dev Kit forums, so we don’t miss a moment.
