Cascade VFX Tutorial - Lesson 2

Last week we posted the first visual effects tutorial in a series designed to help users get acclimated with making visual effects (FX) in Cascade. Today we’re back with Lesson 2 in that series and showing you how to set up your material using Depth Fade.

Follow along and learn how to get rid of that pesky harsh edge that can occur when your effects particles intersect with the geometry in your world. This quick lesson will help you nail down one of the basics of creating believable effects.
