BitMonster Games Takes Aim at Mobile F2P with Gunner Z

BitMonster Games, the small team of industry veterans behind the award-winning Lili and charity-based THRED iOS games, recently unleashed Gunner Z to players worldwide. BitMonster co-founder Lee Perry spoke with Epic Games about developing for the always-changing mobile landscape and how the team utilizes Unreal Engine to keep pace with its third hit mobile title.

While bringing AAA-quality games to mobile quickly is an obvious benefit of using Unreal technology, Perry discusses how the ability to rapidly prototype and introduce new content has been crucial for the free-to-play Gunner Z, a game whose success is dependent on timely post-launch expansion.
